This is simply not true. In fact it’s a flat lie perpetuated by Arkansas, Nebraska, and monkey see monkey do Aggy.
The truth being everyone, and I mean everyone in the country came down on the SWC. They declared a very strong conference to be in terrible shape. The reason being everyone in the country wanted to recruit in Texas. Same thing happened in the Big 12.
I believe the SEC is too strong for that same logic to work again.
