That's nice cherry-picking you made. But the series didn't start in 1990. If you choose to live in the past, then live in the entire history of the series. Florida has never led the Georgia-Florida series, and never will in your and my lifetime. Remember that on your deathbed.

Florida is in rough shape heading into the future. It's being flooded with elderly people, more crowded than California and the housing prices will make all of the people with kids move to more affordable states. There aren't good job prospects in Florida either, it's a fairly poor state per capita.
