This is correct

Not just the media, but other schools and other conferences and the rest of the country in general. NCAA had a lot of anti SEC bias in the 50's, 60's, and 70's


Going back 100 years the South was just as good or better athletes but they were always deemed inferior (probably more population outside the South and they were biased to their own people and regions).


Because of this the SEC had to bond with each other to fight everybody else.

This is the canary in the coal mine moment. We ere strong to fight the bullies but if we take for granted that which made us, we will lose it and probably enjoy less success.

Still do……especially the bowl games….even pull for the Aggies if they would ever play a bowl game.
