I’ve watched Ohio state. The one thing I will say is UGA hasn’t played anyone this season with even remotely the same level of talent as them. Ohio State has recruited at their level. If Georgia doesn’t show up and play well they will lose.

I think Georgia has a big coaching advantage.

It showed up against Oregon and LSU (pretty talented teams by the composite).
It also showed up against Tennessee.

From watching film against Ohio State, it looks to me like they have to "cheat" the box too much to stuff the run and will be exposed defensively.

Offensively (as you stated) if they can't run the football effectively, it could be a very long day for the buckeyes

A fair point but none of those teams listed have the talent and depth Ohio State has. Ohio state, Georgia, and Alabama are the only teams that have recruited in the nuclear levels the last 4 years. And honestly it’s a sizable gap between them and everyone else.

I personally don’t believe OSU wins but there probably isn’t a team that matches up with Georgia pound for pound in terms of individual talent than Ohio State does. UGA can 13 out of 14 games in a season rely on its superior talent alone. This is one of the only games they can’t.

Couldn’t agree more here. I think the longer time goes on from the end of the Meyer era it is clear that the hard biting culture of toughness and competition has eroded. Day is a nicer guy and is well liked by the players and staff but former players have definitely commented on the softer, gentler version of Ohio state football.

It really shows up in the big lack of mental toughness against Michigan. They folded up like a cheap tent when Michigan punched them in the face. Day coaches scared
