I’d take Georgia if I had money on the game. However I can tell lots of folks in this thread haven’t seen OSU play much and didn’t watch the Michigan game. I agree that if we had Jsn it’d be a completely different game. However if we had him all season we’d be a completely different team. Personally, I’m glad that we made the playoffs for obvious reasons but also because it accelerates the clock on Ryan day. Either he wins or is at least competitive or we are that much closer to cutting bait. As someone earlier in the thread mentioned - you can’t get blown out at home that badly by Michigan. For the second year in a row….

One of the only reasonable takes I’ve seen from the Big10 community. I applaud you.

I’ve watched Ohio state. The one thing I will say is UGA hasn’t played anyone this season with even remotely the same level of talent as them. Ohio State has recruited at their level. If Georgia doesn’t show up and play well they will lose.

That being said, it’s hard to see a clear path to victory for OSU. You really need to be able to run the ball to some degree to keep UGA honest. Tennessee couldn’t and it drastically impacted their passing off play action and gave up 6 sacks. Can Ohio State run on Georgia? If they can’t - this is a 2 TD + victory for the UGA. If they can - it’s anyone’s game.

I think Georgia has a big coaching advantage.

It showed up against Oregon and LSU (pretty talented teams by the composite).
It also showed up against Tennessee.

From watching film against Ohio State, it looks to me like they have to "cheat" the box too much to stuff the run and will be exposed defensively.

Offensively (as you stated) if they can't run the football effectively, it could be a very long day for the buckeyes
