It's not calculus, it is simple algebra.
(O/U + spread ) / 2 = winning team score (WTS)
O/U - WTS = losing team score (LTS)
So,
(62.5 + 6.5) / 2 = 34.5 (WTS)
62.5 - 34.5 = 28 (LTS)
