I think roll with Arnett for 2023 and then let the new AD reassess.

This isn't like a Mike Price scandal that takes him down. These players just had heir head coach die. They need some stability, and keeping Arnett and the rest of the coaching staff will do just that.

It may be a one year deal like the John L. Smith year at Arky, or Arnett may show something and end up being a real up and coming coach and you get him from the beginning.

For recruiting purposes gotta give him a 3-4 year contract. But could get it with a low buyout as a bet hedge if it doesn’t work. Arnett could promote Steve Spurrier Jr from pass game coordinator to Offensive coordinator

It might work. Wouldn’t change the system. And Spurriers dad is a legend so he comes from good stock

There is probably a better example out there to use as a selling point if you are trying to convince anyone to go with Arnett in the interim. I thought it was a good idea at the time but it backfired like a MF.
