We lost a legend.

Words are never enough for family and friends but I hope they find comfort in the sheer number of people who were impacted by him.

I'm late getting in here. I gotta say, though, this really hurt my heart when I got around to reading the news this morning.

He was a crazy, lovable dude. I hate that he's gone from the league, his team, and his family.

Calm waters for you, dear Pirate, as you sail away.

Coach Leach was at practice Saturday preparing his team for their upcoming bowl game.
Today, the most interesting, quirky character in sports has passed.
Prayers to Mike's family and the Mississippi State family.

Just here to pay my respects. I don't know that I've ever been more upset about someone I don't even know passing, and I don't really have anything beyond that to add.

RIP.

Sad news. He will be missed. If you haven't read his books, they are worth getting.

Not the news any of us wanted to hear.

God bless Mike Leach and be with all who mourn their loss.

He will be greatly missed. Not a fake bone in his body, and, because of that, he is one of the most respected coaches ever.

We are all pirates and Bulldogs today.

Swing your swords and let the cowbells ring loud and long.

RIP Mike Leach.
