Is grabbing his glasses and breaking them really assault though. He still should have just walked away, but not sure I would call that assault on her part, if that is how it went down.

Semantics. He technically committed assault and battery. She committed assault. Assault isn’t a felony.

Except that’s not what he did. He beat the frick out of her.

And she was the one that tried to leave, and he restrained her.

But keep on defending it, you fricking clown.

He was also charged and booked with a felony. If he actually had any audio to defend his position, he would not have refused to let them hear it.
