I googled this and read some articles about it. Interesting. Not going to lie, kind of put a bug in my brain as I was watching that game last night
I still don't buy into a grand conspiracy though. NFL players compete in a game to win. Its a sport. Questionable calls don't really change that. There are at least as many questionable calls in cfb. There would have to be so many people involved, hard to believe that no one would blow the whistle at this point.
Yeah, I don't think it's outright fixed like the WWE. You still have to have players making plays, and many of the things that happen can't really be scripted.
And it's really impossible to say if something was an honest mistake, or if it was done on purpose.
But they could and it would be 100% legal.
I think mostly what happens is certain things get "help" at times. Things that would cause hype, things people want to see, etc. The teams still have to be good, and they still have to make plays. Derrick Henry is really out there bullying people and making plays. They are usually actually trying to tackle him. Josh Jacbos is out there making plays etc. That's all real.
But I think if the NFL can inject things that will cause hype, or cause people to talk and promote the league etc, they will. It will always be minor things. It's not 100% fixed, but it's not 100% unbiased either.
So would the NFL help a team make a crazy comeback? I think yes. Did it really happen? We'll never know.

I would rather see teams 5-12 play each other in the lst round than to see them play teams that should be exhibiton games. For instance:
1. Alabama vs Washington no Austin Peay or Portland State
2. Tennessee vs Penn State no U.T. Martin or Ohio
3. Clemson vs USC no Furman or Rice
4. Utah vs Kansas State. no Southern Utah or South Dakota
