re: what's great about expanding the playoffs

The 4-team playoff is terrible and has caused a concentration of money, resources, and talent to just a handful of programs. It's worse than if CFB had never gone to a playoff to begin with. The 12-team playoff is an attempt to untangle that and it will take years to do so (that is, if the transfer portal and NIL don't ruin college sports in the meantime)
