to the "but muh players should sit games out cut muh injury potential" crowd, how in the goddamn frick is adding more games at the end of the season a positive for draft eligible players trying to avoid a last minute injury that could potentially kill their draft stock? Come the frick on...

how did cfb fans become so brainwashed that playoffs are bad? In my life the only complaints I've ever heard when it came to playoffs is the way CFB determined a champion...because every other sport had a true playoff system, yes even every level except DA cfb.

Do yall not get excited about playoffs in other sports? Hate March madness, NFL, College World series, etc.

Truth is the CFP didn’t kill the bowl season, the BCS did. We just didn’t see it at the time. Before the BCS, nearly all the major Jan1 bowls would have had a part in determining the National Champion. It’s been a downhill slide for bowls since.

The plus 1 model gave us 3 meaningful post season games. The new model will give us 7. Yeah there are probably 1-3 teams any given year that are above the others, I get it. But if it we had 12 this year, the top 4 get a bye so no detriment to them. The first round would have been fantastic with the matchups.
