It appears Sark likes to get a higher ranked QB every other year, and then a project of sorts who might develop into one the other years.

He definitely targets the guys he wants early on in the process. Then again, we did offer some of the top ranked guys from this class, so maybe I’m dead wrong. I don’t think we ever offered Lagway though.. not sure why not..
I will say that I have read that when a recruit brings up NIL, it is a big turn off to Sark. Idk if that is true or not.. but I could see it.
He wants kids that want to come to Texas for different reasons, not just NIL. The money will be there either way, but if you make it the focus, it says you are about you.. not the team. in theory..

Wonder why Texas hasn't won a championship in a long time? Might it be this reason? I would be worried about the Texas game against Kansas if I was a Texas fan.

We spent a lot for the qb room we have and it was a rich buy-in. $8-10 mil is the figure being floated.
