He won huge everywhere else he’s been and we know you can win an NC at LSU, so there really no reason to think that other than you just don’t want to see it happen.

He's lost in the biggest games at all his other stops. All of his "big win" seasons have ended with a loss.

12-1 in 2012. Lost in championship game.
10-3 in 2015. Lost in Fiesta bowl.
12-1 in 2018. Lost in Cotton Bowl.
10-2 in 2020. Lost in Rose bowl.

His team also lost their Fiesta bowl in 2021, but he didn't coach that game.

He also lost the Orange bowl at Cincy in 2008.

The biggest bowl game win he's ever had is the Citrus bowl. He has gotten his team to a lot of big games (just like he got LSU to the SECCG this year). But he's lost all of them. That is plenty of reason to think he's not going to be able to win a national title at LSU.

Before Brian Kelly was hired Notre Dame hadn’t beaten a power 5 team in a bowl game since 1993. He did it his very first season there and had them in the playoff by year 3. This is 21st century Notre Dame not 1973 Notre Dame.

He went undefeated at Cincinnati, took Central Michigan from 3-9 to MAC Champions in 3 years, and won multiple titles at Grand Valley State.

If you’re suggesting he underperformed at any of his previous stops then I seriously question your understanding of college football.

Seeing as how I know this is wrong right off the top of my head, I'm not sure if I can trust the rest of your information or not.

In Kirby Smart's first 3 seasons, he:

- Won the Liberty Bowl against TCU
- Lost the NC against Bama
- Lost the Sugar Bowl against Texas

What made you think Kirby was capable of winning one after his first three seasons?
