There’s no “official” way in, that’s why there is a committee. And plenty of people said that if those two teams lost we would be in. Even CBS said that yesterday during the SEC championship.

No they didn't. Danielson clearly said at the end of his half hearted Alabama sales pitch that he'd put TCU in ahead of us.

Talking heads said both would have to lose for Bama to get in, but there was no guarantee. TCU barely lost and had beaten KSU during the season. All things considered, the committee has gotten it right.
