To me you can't just drop TCU below just because of when they lost the game.

When those teams lost their games though not everyone around them basically had a worse record though. Yes TCU lost but they were an undefeated vs a bunch of 2 loss team right behind them. Even with the loss TCU still looks better with the total body of work. Which the committee is asked to evaluate
