it's exactly what christianity does, Hugh sinned, asked for forgiveness from his family and god, Christianity is about a second chance, if he's insincere send him packing.

So you are a good Christian you just don't follow the Bible about forgiveness. Damn his wife and daughters did but a few football fans can't. makes sense.
