Yes, and untold numbers of players on our team had the flu. The only ones confirmed were Perkins and Daniels.

LSU's two best players (Daniels and Perkins) both had the flu. LSU players are tougher. Also, Harold Perkins would have sacked KJ Jefferson 10 times even with the flu.
