Prime would recruit better than any coach we’ve ever had no matter how long he was here. The question would be can he coach well enough to compete in the SEC.

As far as him using us to get a P5 Florida job, so be it. He would likely have us set up to bring in a good too great coach after his time.

Not saying you are incorrect, but how many times have we seen this, used this mantra?

I admit my emotions are very raw right now. But this is how I see it. If you are paid what sam is now paid, you should perform better in year 3. The excuses we have had include 1. The crapfest of Smile, Bert, and Chad .. Problem is we are 3 years removed from this.
2. Lack of depth, again... 3 years to have better depth.
3. Offense sucks, Again... His hire. Briles looks like a phenom one game and sucks the next
4. Defense sucks, Odom is a top 5 paid DC... has he earned it? And again depth.. who is supposed to have the depth here by now?
5. Oline sucks... Well??? Seriously?

It is time for Sam to up the Ante or move on... In recruiting, coordinators, depth, and wins. I don't think he can/will do it. So? where does that leave us...

This is outdated thinking. We would have an opportunity for a great couple of years when he came and he would do everything he could to take every good player with him when he left.

There is no setting up for the next guy in the portal era. Programs can be rebuilt in 2 seasons easy.
