The team last year earned more respect than this team.

Last week earned us no cred even from fans. This just shows the climb beamer has in front of him, hell, I like josh pate but he didn't even have our game as upset alert. He gave us no shot.

I feel kinda bad for our coaches and players.

This post before the game I didnt quite understand. Last week earned us a lot of credit, especially from our fans. It was our first signature win under beamer, in a game our fans predicted we would get shite on.

as for last year or this year earning more respect, that was debatable until today.

this years team has absolutely without a doubt earned more respect. 8-4 regular season. Snapping losing streaks all over, beating a top 5 UT and top 10 Clemson to end the year. That has earned us respect

I think you totally missed bleedsgarnet context. We had just blown out Tennessee yet no one in the media nor our fans ( Every board I was in the majority of fans were still not buying in) were giving us a chance against Clempson. So we didn't earn respect after Tennessee was his statement. Even Beamer discussed this

quote:

Beamer said. "We were the ‘feel good story’ in all of college football last week, but nobody thought we were good enough to win this game. We were the team that caught lightning in a bottle last week, and no way we could come out and do it again. I saw one of the commentators on ABC last night talk about how Clemson needs a really big win today and needed style points for the playoffs.
