I’m not sure it is. Unfortunately I think Auburn has the upper hand because right now it looks like we’re just negotiating against ourselves.

I'm sure he knows what Auburn is willing to do. So I think the clock is ticking for Lane. He negotiates and/or signs the extension or he's going to take an offer he knows the terms of toward the end of next week.
