Nashville has a higher violent crime rate than Atlanta. It’s 1/3 the size, it has far more limited flight options. Fewer restaurants and hotels. It’s only substantially closer for UT, Missouri, Vandy, & Kentucky who have collectively been to the SECC 6 times in 30 years. It’s farther for AL, AU, UGA, LSU, & Florida who have been 48 times collectively.
