The level of recruiting that is going on at UF is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been around a long time.

There are no position coaches who just coach. Everyone recruits. I mean everyone. And the recruiting is constant.

We have recruits and their families wanting to come visit us in droves. We have a limited number of official visits. Last year, we may not have used those as wisely as we should. This year, we are being more judicious. But we want kids on campus. We are being selective on who comes, but the number of requests is mind-boggling. Billy needs his entire Gator army to simply accommodate all the details associated with that process. He also needs his “external” army to help in this regard. That army is stepping up to the plate as well. Never have so many people been involved to further the common goal of UF recruiting.

Why all of the willingness to participate? In my opinion, it lies with Napier. He has the ability to connect with people. He has the ability to motivate people. He has the ability to convince people to invest in the cause.

How that translates into getting highly rated recruits committed - we all shall see. Ultimately, that falls on the head coach.

But the movement is simply phenomenal.
