missouri was expected to be crap so losing shouldn't be too much to deal with. I'll submit 2013 for us:

-lose season opener to clemson and our best WR is lost for hte season in the 1st qurater celebrating a TD
-while still mostly healthy, we beat two top-6 ranked teams over the next 3 weeks!
-win an OT squeaker over UT while losing much of our offense, this is a major sign of things to come
-lose the next week at home to relatively new comer missouri
-follow that up the following week with a loss to vanderbilt while losing 2 more WRs
-slog through a few more wins before having defeat ripped from teh jaws of victory in the prayer at jordan hare
-win a few more
-play lazy and uninspired ball in the gator bowl and lose to a mediocre big 10 team

eta: that was the first year that came to mind because it had promise and could've been good but had plenty of losses including the AU miracle. There have been plenty of years in my life (mainly the 90s) where we were dogshit but I figured those went without saying

2013 was a typical season for Georgia during the Mark Richt era. Always a few games every year where the Dawgs don't even show up, and it could be against a good team or a bad one. But that's how it goes for a team that is out of shape and not very fundamentally sound.
