Ballou has his place, but it's not as head S&C guy. Give a Cochran clone minus the substance abuse issues that position and have Ballou report to him. If he doesn't like that, there's the door.

Golding and BOB without question. Roach as well. Since Golding took over as ILB coach and Roach the DL, our front 7 has been trash, despite good recruiting. ILB has been a downright achilles heel since drunk Pete got that gig. It used to be the bedrock of the defense.
Both DB coaches need to go as well. We don't defend the pass anymore, we just interfere almost every play and hope the refs don't call them all. We've developed a reputation as a sloppy, interfering secondary and the refs are watching for it. If you don't believe that, how many times this year have you seen a Bama player get flagged and an opposing DB get away with the exact same technique?

OL seems to be improved, so he gets a pass this year, even though the bar was set about as low as a snake's nuts by Marrone.

Bring back Burton Burns! I wonder if Mark Ingram is ready to hang up the helmet and maybe become a coach. I think he would be a good one if Burns can't be lured out of retirement.

The head man is in charge of DB coaching and technique. I know we have assistants that work with them but Saban handles them directly.
