That said, let’s not pretend 2022 Bama is 2020 Bama offensively.

People say this. It's not true. We're as talented as ever. We don't have four 1st round WR's, but, other than that historic group, we're more talented top to botttom at WR than we've been under Saban.

Do we have areas that are weaker than others? Sure. Are any of them real weaknesses? No. The coaching/play designs are bad. We could have Smitty, Ruggs, Waddle and Jeudy out there, and it would look BETTER, but it wouldn't be anything like when they were in KIffin's or Sark's offense.

I don’t want to argue past each other because I agree that the scheme is horrific and not maximizing our talent.

That said, who do you think would start at WR on the 2018-2021 teams?

Brooks over Bolden? Sure.

Otherwise these dudes just aren’t separating and don’t do much with it when they do catch it. The freshman have the speed but not the technique yet.

I think we are still hung up on star ratings rather than being realistic about who is on the field. Watching live all season outside of Ark and UT who don’t cover at all there just haven’t been many clean looks.

I mean none of our guys would’ve started for LSU Saturday and other teams have better groups than they do nationally (Ohio State, UT, etc).
