Regarding the staff turnover part I partially agree. Can’t imagine how difficult the behind the scenes stuff must be to replace. On the other hand Sabans been dealing with it successfully for years and years why has it become a problem just the last few. Georgia lost its oline coach and hasn’t missed a beat. They lost their dc and most of their starters from last year and dominated a team we gave up 52 points to.

I want to know who the analyst was who was helping choose WR and RB talent seven or so years ago and bring them back asap.

Great find OP. I hope he is right and changes are coming, but I'll believe it when I see it. As for me, I don't think Saban knows how to hire good coordinators, more specifically OCs. Its a crap shoot. So even if he replaces both coordinators, I have no faith he'll replace them with good ones. If he knew how to hire, he would have never gotten Obrien in the first place.

Lets look at his OCs:
Applewhite - Failure, fired him within 1 year. Never should have hired him.
Obrien - Failure, the guy was run off from most everywhere he had been.
Nussmeier - Failure, he was shown the door quickly.
Daboll - He was ok.
Locksley - The guy had ZERO pure OC experience when Saban hired him. The reason he succeeded was because he came through at a time we had some of the best QB talent ever seen at Bama. Calling plays was like PS3.
McElwain - He was pretty good, but he didn't wow me. He just kept it within the plan and let the process and talent do the work.
Kiffin and Sark - Were both offensive minds without question. The only reason we wound up with hem is because Saban was trying to up date the offense. Its the few pure proven OCs he has hired.
