A few thoughts on Jimbo.
I'd like to know how he evaluated the QBs during spring practice because Weigman looked light years better than either King or Johnson. He moved the ball (I know it was only the Ole Miss defense) while protecting the possessions and not turning it over. Is it possible that Connor could have improved THAT much from spring? Sure, but not very likely.
He has to swallow his pride and cede offensive play calling. The system is antiquated and probably over complicated for college QBs.
Offensive Line is a real sore point for me. Year five and our line isn't good. Yes, injuries have hit us hard here but the dropoff is precipitous.
He recruits wonderfully. With/without NIL he can recruit.

When you tout a person like king and promise them the world, you ride or die.
Idk what king did to get to A&M but looking at him I’d never think he played football, let alone be an SEC QB.
King was next man up
