Be honest, did that year feel like real college football to you? No fans in the stands, teams canceling games, opt outs, etc etc?

Yes

Do any fanbases of teams that weren’t garbage think this way?

Alabama played 13 games; if that wasn't real football, then I'm not sure what it was.

Your team was dog shite so you need an excuse for why.

Be honest. If LSU had repeated and won back to back titles, would it have felt like real football to you?

The only reason 2020 triggers LSU fans is because Bama objectively had a season on par with 2019 LSU.

I remember when LSU tried to get the game cancelled in 2020. Must be where Jimbo and the Aggies got the idea to cancel their bowl game from.

I realize they had the worst follow-up season to a national title year in the history of college football, so blaming it on COVID seems like the way to go.

And the NFL obsession. I had LSU fans tell me that 95 Nebraska is overrated because Tommie Frazier wasn't drafted.
