No idea what Saban’s level of involvement is in the specific gameday schemes / coverages, but it does seem telling in any event that he seems to consistently attribute our failures almost exclusively to lack of execution of late - now moreso than ever, I think. That’s kind of a hope killer even if you assume that our issues are 100% execution (which they most definitely aren’t). Like, if you find yourself saying that over and over, isn’t it time to think about making some substantial changes instead of just thinking a good week of practice will give meaningful improvement?

I'm afraid it won't get better unless some people he respects brings it to his attention. I think some former players that Saban respects could help out alot if willing.
