The only blame truly rests with the HC

This site as well as 247 and on3 are full of rival fans and media people who pose as Bama fans.

We committed too many false starts and holds.

Yes,we got boned on the pi interception and lack of targeting/roughing... But the others are on us.

WHEN have you EVER seen a replay for effin 4th down?
NOT the play, but because the officials didn't WANT to give Bama the ball!!!

Alabama being undisciplined and the refs being booty cheeks aren’t mutually exclusive.

You're a troll and always have been and this board is full of them. It's pathetic that you all have nothing better to do than to pretend to be fan of a team you loathe. God bless your miserable souls.

If I'm critical, it's because I think we can do better.

It's okay to be critical. But when certain posters (not saying you, necessarily) have nothing but snide and negative posts directed at the players and coaches it's easy to spot a troll. And the board is cluttered with them lately.

I do have a legit beef on one of the penalties. 1st quarter down 14-7. That was not a hold on Jase McClellan. It's not possible to hold when you're getting whipped as badly as he got whipped. Negated a 30 yard catch and run by Brooks. Ended up punting out of the endzone and giving UT a short field.

+1

I have that firmly in my mind. McClellan being steamrolled backward could never be a hold. The defender never attempted to break contact.

It has gotten so bad that for every good play, I'm always looking at the bottom right corner of the screen. When there isn't a yellow flag, I'm almost amazed.

Yep, you know who always complains about the refs? The losers.

You can always find bad calls. We didn't deserve to win that game. We're fricking lucky we're not 4-3 right now, to be honest.

Everything you just said is true. However, it's also true that those refs sucked (even more than usual). We can't do much about that, I agree. I do believe that refs are unconsciously influenced by public opinion and criticism, though. In my opinion, that's why historically we have gotten penalized more than our opponents over the last ten years or more. The opposing teams and their fans have whined so much that the refs look harder at us than normal. But the last several games we haven't helped our cause, too many stupid penalties, too many poor decisions.

That crew of officials had a hard on for Bama when they got out of their van. It was as though they had been instructed.

Our undisciplined players only made it much worse. Many of these players must be do a hell of job in practice only to fall short when the lights come on.

Oh, and stop trying to return F kickoffs and put #11 on the bench and leave him there.

People are venting and it’s mostly just online. It’s not like we have a radio crew or media lackeys pushing out conspiracy theories about it (like Auburn does) or putting up billboards and going on Gameday to complain about it (like LSU) or throw garbage at the other team or on the field over correct calls (like UT did).

I wish we’d open each game with an incomplete pass to 3 and 11.
BY could then manage 3rd and 10, and we’d have those two obligatory drops out of the way early, rather than late in the game.

People unable to see the refs played a MAJOR factor in this game are absolutely blind and ignorant.

Amen on returning the kickoffs, my wife is tired of me screaming "NOOOO!" every time they do that. She always says "He must have a reason. He keeps having them do it." How many times have we been pinned inside the 15 yard line doing that this year? I presume he just wants to send a message to the team that he wants them to play aggressive? Sure doesn't seem to work out well for us, or any other team for that matter. It cost Tennessee on that series where they fumbled and we scored.
