Not sure they do though. A lot of solid candidates coming available this offseason.

Where were Auburn the last go around on hiring of HCs? I guess you kept going after the like of Gus and Harsin. Who knows which HC will be next. It seems to be someone no one expected.

You have ZERO southern conference championships.

Sure we do... 1932... also arguably an unclaimed title year. Here is some light reading. We have 16 conference titles... don't shoot the messenger.

AU Conference Champs

Rogue AD unfortunately brought in the potato boys. Worst AU head coach since WWII.

You claim one. In reality, there was no such thing as a Southern Conference Champion until after the SEC was formed in 1933. You went 6-0-1. The same season, Tennessee went 7-0-1.

No SEC team can claim a Southern Conference Championship. They were mythical when we were in that conference.

As are most national championships before the playoff era.

You can tweak the stats however you want, old ships count, old ships don't, "mythical" titles. The fact remains that Auburn is a blue blood" top 10-15 type team while OM isn't. Every Auburn coach before Harsin had an undefeated season, won a national championship, or played in one going back to the 80s.

That's half a century of success during which OM has 0 conference championships and only 1 division championship.

Not gonna happen. Kiffin is way too smart to get involved with Auburn.

Auburn is not a blueblood bro. Top 10-15 is being very kind.

Alabama
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Oklahoma
USC
Nebraska
Michigan

That's your 7 blue bloods in random order.

Then you have these that are ahead of Auburn.

Penn State
LSU
Georgia
Tennessee
Texas
Miami
Florida State
Florida

That's 15 total in another random order.

Auburn is not top 15.

Might want to check all time wins before making yourself look stupid.

All time wins is one stat.

Championships, bowl wins, ranked seasons, 10 win seasons all matter.

not sure what analysis you are using...but you might not want to learn this.... but LSU and AU are pretty much "neck and neck" when it comes to "all time rankings"

Top 25 programs all time

I am doing to analysis of us winning 3 Nattys in the last 20 years.

Other than that, we have been close to each other in that timeframe.

However, Auburn didn't really start winning SEC titles until the 80's. All you had before that was 1957.

I would think Kiffin had enough of that type of "Administration" when he was at USC. The man has it made at OM until he get's a shot at a BlueBlood program, if that's what he wants .......

so which is it? All time or are we looking at the past 20 years? If it is the past 20 years you might want to revise your list at the top --because Nebraska sure has hell isn't a top 7 program....

I don't think you can place Florida or Florida State above Auburn all-time. They're all quite similar.

Now this I disagree with.

LSU has more wins, a better winning percentage, more conference wins, more conference championships, more bowl wins, more weeks ranked, more ten-win seasons, and they own the head-to-head against Auburn. We don't have to get into the national championship disparity to call this one.
