Yes. UTw will be their new moniker.
UT is Tennessee. Period.

This is dumb. Everyone knows Texas is the real UT. You can call Tennessee UTk for now on.
The real UT is coming!

UT = Texas for most of the country

UTn was apparently founded before even Tennessee was a state. The fact alone should be grounds for calling its accreditation into question, but I’ll refrain.
Ultimately I have too much respect for all the VOLUNTEERS that died for Texas’ independence

Actually yes. It was founded in 1794 and Tennessee became a state in 1796. (Kudos to Tennessee history class from 7th grade.)

texas university in Austin, A&M's little sister
The entire country thinks of A&M as the equivalent of a directional school, little brother to Texas. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Given that Tennessee seeming founded Texas, shouldn’t the school be called University of Tennessee in Austin

You should have put a NSFW after this. A bunch of dildo pics came up when I typed that in.
That's weird. I didn't get any of those results.

Besides Tulane is not really relevant to the SEC. They have not been members since before most people on this board were born

What an interesting factoid. You know what 7th grade Texas history taught me?
Remember the Alamo, bitch.

As an educated Texan, your stadium is named after a Texan.
