During the season people count the *current* ranking, not the ranking when the game was played. After the season is finished you count using the final polls.

It`s amazing how TENN has shite on themselves when
playing BAMA since NS got there.When they walk on the

Those 3 teams got punished for playing a higher ranked and better team. Texas is the only school I have ever seen lose a game and go up in the rankings.
