Are you agreeing if Drinkwitz goes 6-6, 5-7, or 4-8 he should be fired? I do not. He is making some adjustments but didn't get everything set due to lack of experienced and only a short leach since the first year was a washup. That means he had only 2 years and the first year without Spring game and normal season without any restrictions. Got to give him another year and had to replace two DCs. It is now coming together on offense. No way you fired him when the defense is much improved and then now, he will need to focus a lot more on the offense and there is one quarterback that should be the starter next year if Cook isn't getting it done all the way to the end. Then there is OL that are coming in and others that aren't playing or redshirted. He is getting it moving in the right direction. If you are not seeing it. This year is the quarterback, OL, and wide receivers not getting it done. It doesn't mean it's not fixable. He has the pieces to get it done next year. That is why you will see the situation right now is play it out with what given this year on offense and wait until next year to fix those issues. I believe he is one or two years a way to having a solid team. Including depth and good backups. That is why you need to give him extra year. If the AD isn't agreeing to give him another year, then coaches will steer clear of wanting to replace Drinkwitz. It is that simple all HCs will want the time to get it fix. Drinkwitz wouldn't have had the time to get it fix. Most see it has a 4-year process.

“What men and women need is encouragement. Their natural resisting powers should be strengthened, not weakened ... Instead of always harping on a man's faults, tell him of his virtues. Try to pull him out of his rut ... Hold up to him his better self, his real self that can dare and do and win out!”
