That is sad and you must really want Drinkwitz gone.

Sad is Drinkwitz's record. He's a rookie like Odom. It's going to end the same way. Why prolong it?

You think he will never change? He didn't get the quarterback he wanted. Plus, the OL and receivers were not quite ready. I will give Drinkwitz another year to get the offense going. If he still struggling, then it will be time to make a change. No reason to fire him when recruiting and the defense is doing better. I remember years ago it takes time to get all the pieces. Look at Michigan. The HC was there for like 6 years. This year he is able to keep winning and play competitive football. You don't go out and fired people without given time. I guess Odom was a good example. He wasn't! Not the same thing. Odom couldn't recruit. Plus, he lost games when he shouldn't have in his 4th year against Wyoming. He beat that team 2 years before in a blowout fashion. He was going backwards. Also lost to Vandy in his last year. Drinkwitz is nowhere near that. I guess you need to let this go and wait for next year if you still think Drinkwitz is a bad HC. He might be able to win 5 more games. It depends on how the Vandy game goes. If he gets Cook going in the right direction or have Horn playing and makes it worthwhile. I am sorry you think Missouri roster should be loaded with 4* and 5* and high 3* talents. How is he going to do that in a short time? He is doing it the right way. Some like to go all out on portal and it is not good plus he did try get a quarterback from the portal and it didn't work out. Horn is his best chance for later this year or next year. I guess you not seeing the progress so far and Cook isn't the answer. What can he do right now throw in Horn and that might backfire.
Many was very upset with the way the defense played last year. I am pretty sure Drinkwitz must've spend a lot of time with the new DC to get the defense fix. I am not upset with that. The offense was going to take a step back due to not able to find a good quarterback from the transfer portal. He must've no choice to use Cook up to this point and not use Horn. I have no knowledge of why Horn was not given an opportunity to play so far. I do not know the situation and I will never know the reason.
Next year I believe Drinkwitz will ease up spending time with the DC since the defense has been lights out better.
He probably will spend a lot more time trying to get the offense fix. I am not sure if he will make a hire or two for the offense or whatever is needed to get the fix. This will be in year 4. That shall mean a much better team overall. Defense is now respectable, and the offense may surprise other teams next year since it shall be much improved offense and possible scheme change. I think this is what I predict will happen next year. That is why you give Drinkwitz another year.

Lefty, that's a lot of words for "Oh, I hope and hope!" That's all you and Drinkwitz have. Stick with it.

13-16 is all that matters. That's called a trend. Most know that I now have little confidence in HC Drinkwitz turning this program around, while still hoping he does it very soon. We've all seen the rookie coach rerun before. I'll gladly eat the crow when I see a division or conference trophy. Two P5 road wins in three seasons doesn't cut it...two. SMH

Drinkwitz's good+ recruiting will soon start circling the drain without wins. Watch because it's starting.
