That spot used to be a similar gourmet burger chain place. In that same shopping center, Eataliano's is excellent. The redhead bartender named Kaitlin will treat you right. Tell her you were referred to her by "The tropicalia guy".
ETA- also there's a secret way to get out to I-85 around back by the dumpsters and bypass all the NDH/Briarcliff nonsense... dumps you out on Executive Parkway.

Meh. It's just a hamburger. We have plenty of places that sell those where I live.

I honestly had no idea Hopdoddy was an Austin thing. Do they market themselves as an Austin experience in some way, or did the restaurant just happen to start in Austin?
I don't think so but they did originate in Austin.

No offense to any of those outside of Texas, but one of the best things about living here is that you can get real Mexican food that is twice as good as any of those places for half the price in almost any town.
Real Mexican food? Lmao! Tex Mex is damn good, but not real Mexican Food...If you want real, authentic Mexican Food, you need to go to New Mexico or Arizona...If Mexicans ate Tex Mex their whole life, they'd all be bigger than the Good Year Blimp and have heart attacks by the time they are 30...Tex Mex is like the Americanized cheeseburger or pizza of Mexican Food.

Cant trust a restaurant that charges for burgers and fries separately.
