Just watched the end of the Arkansas v. A&M game

for the first time. Not sure how I had previously missed the highlights.
Why are A&M fans deriding the Hogs on tRant? Arkansas outplayed them and should have (shoulda, woulda, coulda - actually applies when the opposition is smack talking a superior team) that game.
Also, App State.

No they didn't. Especially at the end. A&M held them scoreless for almost 3 full quarters of football. Can't really understand how you surmise that they outplayed us. Statistically the game was pretty close.

If Jefferson doesn't fumble going in for the TD and aggie gets the fluke return for a TD I suspect aggie would have folded. It would have been 21-7 at that point and the hogs had all of the momentum. Once that happened Arkansas looked deflated and A&M had new life.
But, the play happened and that's football. Good on aggie for closing the deal.

Watched the end and drew a conclusion based on it…. Figures.
Ags outgained Hogs in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Q and had a missed FG before half.
Hogs FG attempt happened with 1 1/2 minutes left in game. Ags were getting ball back with timeouts. Could have easily driven down for a FG attempt.

You're obviously hearing it from the deluded 8&4 fans that still think their horrible team had anything to do with that game.

Arkansas won the 1st quarter 14-0.
We won the rest of the game 23-7.
That 1st quarter Arkansas dominated us. The last 3 quarters we outplayed them.
I think Arkansas has a good team and they might be slightly better than us despite losing the game.

Qtr 1 and 4 they won. Qtr 2 and 3 we won. We just scored more points in the qtr we won than did.

Last I checked there is only one metric to measure by and it's called the score.

Ole Miss fans did the same thing last year in a game we only lost bc we went for 2 instead of for the tie and dint get it.
