Then I hope you have a good backup plan. It would suck to miss out on a good coach because you focused on a guy who isn’t leaving

No it wouldn’t! You do realize Kirby played for Georgia right! Georgia will retire as the head coach at Georgia unless he has NFL aspirations.

Kirby is killing it at Georgia and he's an alum. Why would he leave for Bama? Georgia's pockets are as deep as Bama's, so that isn't it.

No, never going to happen, thankfully !

Kirby has roots at UGA, he would never leave there to return to Alabama.

When Saban retires, and I think he will before his 8 year contract is up, the replacement will likely be one of his other previous assistants. Kiffin will be a strong contender, if Saban retires in the next 3-5 year range.

Yes, because he will certainly leave the school at which both he and his wife played and the program that he built to go to Bama for the same money he's making at UGA.

Kirby has built a better program than Bama now

Why would he downgrade?

That'll never happen. Alabama doesn't have the money UGA has if it were to come to that. Tuscaloosa is like Baton Rouge compared to Athens as a place to live, too.

Kirby is at home, sweet home, Georgia!! To stay!!

Smart has nothing to gain by going to Bama. He's already won a NC at UGA and an idol and Bama fans have raised the bar to near impossible to keep a coach for 3 or 4 years.

The Bear ruined Bama for years and Saban has killed it. The NIL has destroyed the chance of another coach coming in and pulling off a Saban to swoop in an buy (before you get all defensive, all the top players aren't going to fall over themselves to come to a school that sucked and hasn't hasn't been relevant in football for 15+ year and on probation) all the south's recruits in one or 2 years.

There is no coach that is going to come in and create enough buzz after Saban leaving to keep it up. Saban is already losing his grip as it is.
