This is just a real question to Bama fans.

When Saban retires, if he ever does…

Would Glen Schumann ( 32 ), Bama Alumn ; from the Saban-Kirby tree, be an real if not the actual target? Considering the extension Saban just signed.

I didn’t realize he went to Bama until today.

The primary target would be Smart.

This is the rant. There is no room for rational thought or discussion.

We’ve got a Saban clone being prepared in a highly classified REC lab.

I wish Schumann would come be our DC, though.

Isn’t the ‘Kirby Tree’ actually nothing more than the Saban tree from his time in Baton Rouge? You Dawg fans are really about to get over your skis with this ‘Kirby is God’ delusion.

You should worry about smart. He's gonna get that nfl coaching bug that every successful college coach eventually gets. And when he does that, washes out, guess where he's gonna come back to cause our old national championship winning coach will finally be retiring and we will be in need of another national championship winning coach to replace him

I think Geoff Collins would be a home run hire for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Make it happen

Greg Byrne has gone on record that he's a out of the box thinker. Jim Leonhard is my guess.

I heard it's Coach O's dream job.

And clearly Bama fans respect what he would bring since they all felt we were crazy for firing him. Right?

I will be interested in following Schumann’s career but Alabama made the mistake of putting a priority on being an “Alabama man” too many times in the past. Just hire the best qualified candidate when the time comes. If he’s off the Saban tree or an Alabama guy, that’s just a plus.
