Nah. It’s not just the record. It’s the downward trajectory; the injuries; the bad offense and boring football; the discontent on the team; the arrogance towards boosters and fans; really just a dark cloud that destroyed the program.

Shane may seem hokey. And lord knows he needs to upgrade his coordinators. But his turnaround of the entire football environment is amazing. We are painful to watch, yet fans are excited and showing up in a way they haven’t since Spurrier peaked in 2013. There will be growing pains,sure, but Shane is going to do awfully well in a couple of years.
