Are you people sure your perspective is realistic and not just an extension of your own egos which are emotionally tied to your conference?
Nobody thinks it's because Texas is that great. It's because Alabama played poorly.
Not to mention, without help from the refs Texas isn't even remotely in this game. Blame it on Alabama or whatever, but it was either Alabama being sloppy, or refs being bad. Either way, nobody is thinking Texas is great as a result of Alabama's penalties.
