Both have great football history. How many years does it take in the SEC grind to admit " This grind is a lot harder than we thought" ?

Year 3? Thats what I'm thinking.

There is limited success in conference. In the end, it won't be any different, only the names will have changed. Where they end up in the order remains to be seen, but it's not going to make the grind harder.

The only thing that would make it harder is going from an 8 to a 9 game conference. Which is dumb, but more likely. Still that would be the case even if we didn't add Texas and Oklahoma. It's dumb because again, success in conference is limited. All conference games come out to .500 and it just makes the conferences overall record biased close to .500.

We saw what happened in 2020. SEC teams were extremely under ranked due to records. Then they go into bowl games and you get "top 15" ranked teams losing to .500 SEC teams badly.

Not exactly what I'm seeing in these results.
