This entire board was predicting Bama by at least 3TDs and they barely escaped with their lives last Saturday and could've lost by 2TDs themselves.

Are you people sure your perspective is realistic and not just an extension of your own egos which are emotionally tied to your conference identity?

Nobody thinks it's because Texas is that great. It's because Alabama played poorly.

Not to mention, without help from the refs Texas isn't even remotely in this game. Blame it on Alabama or whatever, but it was either Alabama being sloppy, or refs being bad. Either way, nobody is thinking Texas is great as a result of Alabama's penalties.

Bama didn’t “escape” Texas played not to lose and got beat. Coaches like Sark aren’t gonna last more than a couple years in the SEC so Texas is already years behind before it even begins.
