Texas has been below average since 2010. Even their Sugar Bowl year of 2018, they had 3 conference losses. To think they are going to come into the SEC and do better conference wise is highly unlikely.

OU is more interesting. They have dominated the Big 12 for years. They have only lost more than 2 games overall once in ten years. They have a lot further to fall, but I can see them being a problem in the conference.

Both programs can compete with anyone when they are hitting on all cylinders.

Playoffs were expanded to 12 teams, the future SEC will not cannibalize itself.
