Those fans are idiots. It's like they totally forgot how Pinkel was successful as a coach.

Programs like Missouri need to give coaches 5 years or not even bother. Either that or actually have a billionaire really open the pocket book to reel in a big fish.

Odom i would've preferred get more years but he also got minus points for kind of fricking up the transistion from Pinkel

I would generally agree, but Kansas is trending up. Missouri is not

Petrino who is living in Missouri currently. I don't care about dirty laundry just win.

I agree with the rest of your post, but think that Petrino's best days as an HC is behind him.

Drink is Chad Morris bad.

Drink has actually won some SEC game(s), made it to a bowl, and hasn't lost to a G5 during the regular season yet, so maybe pump the brakes on the hyperbole.

Honestly they should hire Petrino. If they did the majority of Arkansas fans might finally consider the “Battle Line Rivalry” an actual rivalry game.

Mullen would be a massive step up. Mullen had never been fired in his life until last year. It feels like he’s been around forever, but he’s young enough to learn from it.

Alternatively, he takes it badly and doesn’t improve. 2020 covid season is what broke Mullen. His guy throws a shoe and Mullen sends that player out for the coin toss the following week. 2021 was so bad for him because he took his hands off the wheel in 2020.

Drink has this year and most likely next. I'm on the fence now.

Petrino all day long...PLUS, hire a top-notch DC with him. I don't care if he screws every woman on campus and a few more off-campus if the chics allow it. NO felonies and just win.

When Mullen is committed he’s a good coach.

I would be okay with this as well. He just would need a guy who can actually recruit our state on his staff.

If you don’t think GP being let go on 2015 after what happened with the protests he permitted was just cancer you are naive.

If he had that I think he’d be dangerous

That would be key. However, part of Mullen's problem is he likes to hire his buddies and absolutely will refuse to fire them no matter how poorly they perform.

HIs issues as a recruiter are well known. But his bigger issue, imo, is his poor staff hires and stubbornness in making changes when things don't work.

I like how the Ark fans are pushing Petrino. Excellent subterfuge!

I see you, Hogs…… LOL

I would not want to see a school on our schedule yearly hiring Petrino. Wouldn’t want them to get Herman either. I think both would be dangerous there

This sounds exactly like a main complaint from many Pinkel detractors over the years. Sometimes loyal to a fault.
