Acadian Driftwood
If you'd had told me that chorus was by the Grateful Dead, I'd probably have believed it.
I think I've posted it before (hopefully not ITT), but this has always been my favorite song from The Band:
When I Paint My Masterpiece
The Band
Cahoots
Love well-written lyrics, and it's hard to go wrong with Dylan (especially when it's sung by someone else).

I Shall Be Released
The Band
Music from Big Pink
Like this one? Of course, another Dylan-penned tune.
Richard Manual's vocals on this are awesome to me. It sounds like a man who has reached his mental end with the world and is standing on the edge of a high cliff staring over the edge and down into a dark, wooded valley below wondering if stepping off of the precipice and into the void would be the release from his troubles that he thinks it might be.
