In the last 10 years you've never held the #1 ranking. Even bottom feeder MSU has done that in recent times.
Face it Texas you're no better than MSU. Be prepared to lose to the MS schools after joining the SEC.

That’s a flat arse lie. We were happy and proud to join. Since then we have been a substantial part of the SEC as the one of the two teams in attendance, revenue, etc. While we may have had one or two idiots post stupidities, it’s nothing like we’ve seen the last two days from the Whorns.

As a die hard alumni and donor, I can tell you in total confidence that A&M did NOT have this attitude. We were grateful to have cut the cord from Texas and sprinted from the cess pool of the Big 12. We knew we didnt have the recruits to be competitive but somehow Johnny Manziel showed up. We still have a bit more work to do but are clearly the program with the biggest rise. Thats undeniable. Telling you all now, ut-austin fans are gonna try to swallow the SEC whole. They live in an ivory tower and are clueless human beings as football fans. They will have consistent losing seasons but still believe they are better than anyone else. Worse, they actually truly believe it even after 17 years of doing NOTHING in the noncompetitive B12.
This is gonna be so much fun when and if they finally join. Dont be suprised if Sark sucks arse and they realize how unprepared they are for the SEC so they cut bait and run to the ACC or Big 10. Something only the slimey and dishonest do which is texas university at austin. Only to be laughed at and never trusted. No integrity whatsoever.
Personally I cant wait. Wish they would have joined this year. We all know what is gonna happen. And even then? They are gonna get maybe 5 wins, yet, try to run their mouths. Soon enough they will be the little bitch of all the SEC....

If running the show is what did last year in a weak conference. Then yes, if that’s what you think running the show looks like. You will be running the show Texas version in the SEC. Sark will be forever 7 loss Sark.

What does the whole SEC think they're as good as the current top two? Because our fans expect more.
Don't get it twisted. Kentucky/Vandy/South Carolina/MSU/Arky/OM don't see themselves on our level. But they're a part of the ship and crew because they get to run the SEC gauntlet every damn year and get grinded. I submit that MSU, Arky, and South Carolina would all have seen much more success in any other conference.

Odd to see a 5-7 team who lost to Kansas talking trash. They weren't even in the top half of the Big 12 last year but they're going to run the SEC?

Just look at ALL the schools from the SEC that’s won a National Title since the inception of BCS/CFP. You can take away Bama and the SEC still has more national titles than any other conference during this time. SEC has had more teams win a national title than any of conference during this same time span as well. And oh, when was the last time Texas won anything of note?
