I am shocked how many people in our fanbase still don’t fully trust KJ. Zero concerns on offense for me. KJ can run at will against 10/11 remaining teams.

Defense needs some work but it was only game 1

I wish Briles trusted his arm more sometimes.

I’d like to see KJ taking about half as many hits. Run guys over when it’s a key moment but he needs to start sliding some

check out our beautiful called run with KJ at the 1:43 mark.

Arkansas/Cincy

Briles only ran this a few times, and I imagine was conservative with it on purpose. We can drill the crap out of people with it later on, with KJ, Malik, or a running back taking the snap.

quads right and a WR left, basically a no-back but Trey is actually in an H-back slot so he can be the 6th blocker against what is arguably only 5.5 defenders in the box, i.e., gaining the extra blocker and allowing KJ to run roughshod. Same thing Cam Newton killed the world with in 2010 at Auburn.

Later on v Cincy we also had one play where the Cincy secondary was overmatched with 2 DB's trying to bracket 3 Hog receivers on one side. I'm guessing we got that mismatch because they cheated inside expecting more KJ Wildcat. We can expect to see some checks to hitch screen on that later on I'm guessing. aka, the direct snap called run "Wildcat" will set some teams up for some big hitch screen success later on.
