if a team is playing to take away the deep ball, they would be in cover 3 or a four across bracket matchup zone with four DB's able to run with the deep ball

No they wouldn’t, when they’re attempting to take away the run as well. Cincinnati played under cover 2 damn near the entire game. 2 safeties over the top. LB matches up with TE or RB.

Bracket matchup zone? WTF are we playing basketball now?

Cover 3 is straight zone. Cincy tried to play more man yesterday to have more freedom in the box. Not once did they play cover 3, that I recall.

but you don't want to talk about that now

I’ll talk scheme all day long…but I’m not going to talk to a jackass that’s constantly attacking posters for a different view than yours.

so does everyone else in the nation, including us

so you moved to goalpost to include "also attempting to take away the run" you're a dishonest person - 3 deep and four across brackets are the best coverages for taking away the deep ball

nobody sits and plays straight man all day

wow, continue to implode whiner boy

I never said Cincy played cover 3, you're making shite up again. And yes, there are variations of cover 3 with one or more guys playing underneath man with the zone safeties over the top, so you're wrong again

you're the jackass bub
